Prior to the spring Detachment Executive Committee meetings this past weekend, Officers and Executive Board members of Squadron 283 were privileged to attend a dinner to honor the SAL National Commander, Kevin Collier of Alaska. Afterwards, the National Commander spoke on the mission of the Sons of the American Legion and how the Legion Family needs to work together to accomplish all that it can.
The dinner was hosted by Squadron 136 and Post 136 in Arroyo Grande who showed gracious hospitality to all attendees with delicious Santa Maria style barbecue.
